Learning objectives

The skin is at the interface between our bodies and the environment, and, as such many external and internal factors have a strong impact on it. As we discover more about these interactions, we gain knowledge to prevent and treat detrimental effects to the skin.
In this course, we will review the effect of external factors such as visible light exposure and pollution, and the impact of internal factors such as hormones, aging and antioxidants. We will also learn about the interactions between the skin and the brain in pathologies, how mental health can affect skin health and how psychology could be used to improve mental health in dermatology settings.
Join this journey to improve your knowledge in dermatology and polish your skills to better care for your and your patients' skin!
