CeraVe Visibly Improved Wound Appearance Compared to the Emollient Protective Cream and the Untreated Site After 3 Days1
Protocol: N = 24 male and female patients, average age 38.2. Fitzpatrick skin types II and III. An ablative laser induced consistent 150-μm-deep wounds. Following laser induction, CeraVe Advanced Repair Ointment or an emollient protective cream was applied twice daily for 18 days. One site remained untreated. Wound healing was assessed at day 1, day 3, day 7, day 11, and day 18.
