The current COVID-19 outbreak and its associated lockdown, implemented in several countries has affected lifestyle and the time spent outside. In the Nordics, we have taken to the great outdoors! A well balanced (broadspectrum) UV protection is essential, even in tempered climates like the Nordics.
On June 1st 2021, The Nordic Hub organized its first Exclusive Nordic Live Event dedicated to the clinical impacts of UVA on the skin and important consideration when recommending UV protection to your patients.
This online Exclusive Nordic Live Event welcomed dermatologists from Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden and Iceland with one simple objective: Kick off a Nordic movement to raise awareness around the role of UVA rays, while celebrating the recent JEADV publication “Photoprotection according to skin phototype and dermatoses: Practical recommendations from an expert panel”.
