INTRODUCTION

Pigmentation disorders and skin unevenness often constitute aesthetic or psychological discomforts affecting the quality of life across all populations. The discovery of new ingredients able to effectively manage melanin production is crucial. 2-MNG (2-mercaptonicotinoyl glycine), is a new molecule with a thio-niacinamide backbone, offering high performance in inhibiting melanin production. The objective of this study is to determine the mode of action of 2-MNG, which was explored in tubo, in vitro and in vivo.
