Split-Face Study of Anti-Aging Skincare Regimen Combined with 1540 nm Non-Ablative Laser: Impact on Skin Quality, Firmness, and Collagen Density
Facial aging is a complex and multifactorial process, influenced by genetic, biological, and environmental factors. This process is characterized by an imbalanced distribution of soft tissues, changes in skin texture and tone, as well as the appearance of wrinkles and folds.
This split-face study compared the effects of an anti-aging skincare regimen (topical antioxidant serum containing 15% ascorbic acid, 0,5% ferulic acid, and % of tocopherol, a moisturizer containing blueberry extract and pomegranate fruit extract – inhibitors of glycation and brightening sunscreen SPF 50) to control regimen (moisturizing cream and a moisturizing sunscreen).
