Course Learning Objectives:



This course explores the vital connection between the skin and the mind, presenting psychodermatology as a multidisciplinary field at the crossroads of dermatology, psychiatry, and psychology. Participants will learn about the classification of psychodermatological disorders and comorbidities, the impact of primary skin diseases on mental health, and the psychiatric conditions that manifest with dermatological symptoms. The program also provides practical approaches for managing these disorders, along with patient education, advice, and communication strategies to enhance clinical outcomes.
