Target Audience and Goal Statement

This activity is intended for healthcare professionals in the field of plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine, dermatologists, primary care physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, and physician assistants.​

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to recommend skin care regimens that take into account cellular factors that contribute to aging of the skin and ingredients in cosmeceuticals that target the epidermal cell turnover cycle and combat oxidative stress.

A practical Algorithm for the Use of Supportive Skincare to Improve Patient Outcomes and Satisfaction

In this 1-hour webinar, Ted Lain, MD and Lisa Ginn, MD will present a practical algorithm for the use of supportive skincare to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction with nonenergy and injectable dermatologic procedures. The algorithm was co-developed with Sabrina Fabi, MD, Jean-Francois Tremblay, MD, Ariel Haus, MD, Valerie Harvey, MD and Valeria Campos, MD. Based on collected feedback, skincare recommendations for facial treatments will be shared to stimulate healing, reduce downtime, and improve comfort and treatment outcomes.
