Billions Are Without Access to Skin Health.
We Have the Power to Enact Change Together.

Skin health access is a global issue. While 1/3 of the global population is affected by skin disease, there are fewer than 1 dermatologist per million people in some countries, creating a coverage gap that leaves 3 billion without access to care.1-3 This forces vulnerable patients, especially those in rural settings, to journey up to 200 miles for a dermatologist visit, with some waiting up to 2 years to get an appointment.4

World Skin Health Day is July 8th and CeraVe is joining the International League of Dermatological Societies (ILDS) and the International Society of Dermatology (ISD) for the second year as a proud partner. This global initiative aims to educate people about the importance of skin health and encourages discussions and actions that work towards improving it.
