Protocol: A 4-week, single-centre study was conducted on 49 women (ages 30-65) with dry to very dry skin. CeraVe Moisturising Cream was used twice daily on one lower leg (the other leg remained untreated). A dermatologist assessed dry skin symptoms at baseline and week 4. Assessments were made on both the treated and untreated areas.

Protocol: A 4-week, single-centre, double-blind, intra-subject clinical study was conducted on 34 women and men, ages 20 - 89, with dry, eczema-prone skin. Protocol: In a multicentre study, 528 subjects (ages 18-75) from 19 countries with diabetes mellitus-related xerosis used the CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser and Moisturising Cream regimen twice daily for 4 weeks. Subjects assessed dry skin severity using the five-point Global Aesthetic Improvement Scale (GAIS) that ranges from very much improved to worsened.
